Gender Policy

NGO Fontana recognises the importance of gender as a cross-cutting issue in its programmes and activities and is committed to the promotion of gender equality in health by doing the following.

NGO Fontana aims to:

·       Promote equity and equality of men and women through its programmes and ensure that inequitable is not promoted.

·       Carry out gender analysis to monitor the impact of interventions.

·       Ensure equal access to education, information and services benefiting physical and mental health provided by NGO Fontana.

The Board will be responsible for the implementation of this policy, and provide training and technical support to ensure staff members understand and implement the policy successfully.
